Lego Party #2

This year as we planned for birthdays both of the boys decided that they wanted Lego parties. Though I maybe should have planned one big party, planning 2 parties with one theme made things easier. We did a few bigger kid things at Wilson's party and I bought Wilson's cake instead of spending the hours we did on C's, but all in all they were very similar and both super fun. Pete's birthday is this week and I'm thinking he wouldn't mind if we just kept the Lego theme going.

The boys both got Lego headlamps from the Davidsons and they are so cute. Pretty sure I am going to have to check Campbell's pockets before school because he is taking that thing with him everywhere.
On Saturday morning, as we were getting ready for the party, Pete realized that Wilson had lost a tooth. After a little investigation we decided that Wilson swallowed his tooth, that we didn't even know was loose, while sneaking a little birthday candy.
Life is NEVER dull around here.

Happy Birthday buddy.
We all love you so much!

seven

Being a parent is the most wonderful and unusual combination of feelings. Seven years ago today I learned how to fall in love at first sight and how to trust the Lord in a bigger way than ever, how to change diapers, rock a baby, laugh at myself, take things one day at a time. And for seven years my big guy has been teaching me about every stage of parenting. We learn together, love each other like crazy, laugh and cry.
Wilson, we love you so much!
Happy Birthday.

Argenta Market

After much anticipation the Argenta Marget opened today!
Pete had the day off and we headed there to enjoy lunch and some shopping. It is so super cute and had some really great sandwiches and prepared salads.
They offer some great local produce and other yummies. There are also a few things that made an appearance that surprised me. Along with the local fare you can also get Doritos or Captain Crunch. Strange, but true.
We had the club sandwich, corn salad and spinach dip with kettle chips.
Did you go? What did you have?
I was scoping everyone's sandwiches and they all looked pretty good.

s day (take 2)

honestly feels like yesterday that we were having "s day" at mdo with Wilson, but yesterday was actually Campbell's turn. he was equally excited and proud, both the boys love their daddy and think his job is the coolest.

and now after drinking Frappuccinos his whole class thinks Campbell's dad has a pretty good job.

a beautiful Day

yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting the newest member of the Day family on the day she was born.

i am crazy about this sweet girl's big brother and sister and fell in love with her at first sight.
i want to squeeze this child. loves. i am a sucker for big brown eyes.
thanks so much for letting me be a part of your special Day (i will never get tired of that).

EASTER

We had such a wonderful Easter! We woke up in our own house(long story for later) and got to have breakfast with my parents. We went to church and enjoyed worship and celebrating the joy of Easter, He is Risen. We then went to Pete's parents for a yummy lunch, complete with many treats. We hid eggs and all 8 kids had an egg hunt. Some of my sweetest memories as a child are spending Easter day with my cousins and extended family...i love that my kids are making similar memories.
I got the boys shirts at Target this year and they looked so cute.

Happy Easter!
